FUTURE PROOF METHODOLOGY

Discover how our apps work together to create a 360 degree end-to-end solution to hardening homes.

Our Recipe for AI Based Recommendation Systems

AI is advancing fast, but it still needs a human touch. Like soup, good ingredients matter—but it’s the chef’s spoon that perfects the flavor. We see intelligent systems the same way: AI guided by people to cost-effectively address extreme weather.

Visionary AI Engine™

Visionary AI Engine™ is our soup pot, blending deep learning with field apps to deliver climate risk analysis, construction recommendations, remodeling costs, and financing—educating and empowering property owners.

Magic Window®

Magic Window® selects the ingredients by evaluating your home within its neighborhood, city, and state. Its time-machine view shows the past 75 years, today’s conditions, and projects 75 years ahead. Low risk? Great. Higher risk? Download our virtual inspection specialist.

XHome Survey™

XHome Survey™ is the critic’s eye—evaluating the recipe. It inspects wall by wall and door by door, spotting weak parts like exterior materials or gas meter placement, then shows how to adjust the recipe with changes that boost resilience.

How We Do Our Evaluations and Recommendations

Our method is simple, we utilize multiple AI providers, models and specialized databases which perform best for each one of our tasks. This is essential since we cross many disciplines with weather, remote viewing, photometric measurement, building materials, construction engineering and “best practices” utilized in 75 years of contractor’s “nip / tuck” repairs.

AI is actually perfect for “seeing” all these things at the same time then with our integration models drawing the best conclusions. We don’t claim perfection but we are constantly working to make it cheaper and more accurate which is currently about 93%

How We Score Your Weather Risk

We have divided extreme weather risk and construction risk into two applications…one determines if you might need the other. If you do its a free download.

Connecting Magic Window®, XHome Survey™ & the Visionary AI Engine™

Magic Window looks at your “Community Risk” this is where your property is located within a zip code, then with our IBM Climate models and other factors we score that area for the past, present and future weather events that can occur.

If you score high on one of seven risk events we strongly recommend you use our XHome Survery application to take a closer look at how your home is built and sitting within your community.

XHome Survey

How We Look At Your Property

When your community risk score is high, the XHome Survey app does the heavy lifting. Using your phone or iPad, you start with a quick property inventory—doors, windows, gas meter, and other details captured through simple pop-up pictures.

Then you photograph your home from each corner to record surfaces, vegetation, and other risk factors. If obstructions block our view, the app’s built-in manual measurement system uses your device’s camera and range finder or LIDAR to complete the survey.

How We Evaluate Your Home’s Construction

Once the inspection and inventory are completed our Visionary AI Engine™ creates a 3D twin, virtually disassembles your home, and then rebuilds it with more resilient components.

Utilizing multiple resources from the app, aerial phototelemetry, construction material libraries and best construction practices the survey will have measured your strucuture, cataloged every door, window and vent noting any penetration that could catch a burning ember or allow water to infiltrate the home. The result: a verified plan and estimate to help lower your risk score

How We Draw Conclusions and Recommendations

The Visionary AI Platform ™ draws on nearly a trillion data points, learning more with every property we assess. Using building codes, engineering standards, extreme weather models, and practical construction knowledge, it identifies the most cost-effective path to qualify your home for remodeling discounts while improving safety.

Not every house can be remediated, and we’ll tell you upfront if the desired outcome isn’t possible. If we can’t help, your subscription remains active for a year—because the footprint of disaster will continue to expand over the next 25 years.

How We Do Plans and Cost Estimates

Material and labor costs vary by region, so we index them and provide estimates of the type and quantity of materials needed for your area, this includes expected labor hours based on best practices.

Our Project Management Guides are delivered via email to homeowners by two paths: DIY users can access detailed plans and takeoffs for a modest fee—a fraction of what a traditional estimator would cost—while licensed contractors purchase from our network and add overhead and profit to the final price. In both cases, we validate the work and issue a certificate for your insurance carrier.

Cost Estimate

Please note: Risk scores don’t tell the whole story. A home in a wildfire zone may score as a low-risk thanks to rain cycles or nearby fire services, but those factors don’t change how it’s built. Materials, roof design, changes in the climate and utility placement all impact survivability.

That’s why we stress remediation—getting ahead of what you can control in your home’s construction today can make a difference when the weather patterns change… and they likely will… stay aware… check in with us occasionally, we update our climate risk models frequently. Today is no guarantee for tomorrow.
